MBL Launches New Automated Analyzer Kit to Quickly Detect Neutralizing Antibodies Against SARS-CoV-2
Kit will help with understanding immune status of COVID-19 patients and promote research on vaccine efficacy
Tokyo, Japan – August 30, 2021 – Medical Biological Laboratories Co., Ltd., a JSR Life Sciences Company, has released a new RUO kit for measuring neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, which was successfully developed in collaboration with the School of Medicine, Keio University. The kit was released on September 1st, 2021 in Japan.
This kit can be installed in the fully automatic clinical testing system, STACIA®, manufactured by LSI Medience Corporation. This is expected to be widely useful for evaluation of neutralizing antibodies in individual COVID-19 patients and changes in antibody titers after vaccination, and also for studies to investigate optimal vaccination intervals.
